Hope you made it out to Orange Park this past Saturday. Oh! You wimped out because of the weather? Then we have great news. The World Golf Village is hosting a Food Truck Rally this Saturday, April 5 from 11Am – 4PM.
The rally is near the Walk of Champions and is featuring the Charlie Walker Band. Part of the reason for the rally is to kick off 2 new films at the IMAX Theater at the World Golf Hall.
Enough of that…here’s what you want to know. These trucks are confirmed:
Kona Ice – Incredibly popular with the under 12 crowd, these guys offer flavor taps on the side. Pretty straight forward idea…shaved ice and syrup on top.
Le Petite Cupcakery – We still haven’t tried their maple bacon and salted caramel varieties. As far as we’re concerned bacon makes everything better! Hope to check ’em out this time.
Gourmet Aviator – Great sauces, killer fish tacos, tasty pulled pork. What’s not to love. Read more about Gourmet Aviator in this review from one of our favorite Jax food blogs Snack and Jill: http://www.snackandjill.com/2012/05/gourmet-aviator-food-truck.html
Blue Pacific Grill & Taco Bar – We interviewed these guys not too long ago. These guys are legit. Make sure to check them out.
The Cat’s Meow – Here’s another truck we interviewed. We were excited about Spud Subs…and we weren’t disappointed.
Fusion – One more truck we love. We also interviewed the chef when they made their debut not too long ago. At the March of the Food Trucks Rally they really had the entire sales process licked. On top of their ordering efficiency, the food is awesome!
Mama’s Food – Just like Mama used to make…if your Mama is an Argentinean. You wont be able to miss this truck, it’s one of the brighter ones around.
Cravingz Mobile Kitchen – Think BBQ on wheels. A husband and wife team that bring their Colombian, and Arabic background to Southern BBQ.
