We’ve known this day would come, and we’re so excited to welcome Salumeria 104 to the Jacksonville food scene. The moment we heard made-from-scratch pasta and cheese wheel, we knew it would be a hit! The restaurant will open its doors to the public on Thursday, February 23, and is located at 60 Ocean Boulevard in Atlantic Beach.
You may have heard of Salumeria 104, known for its two flagship locations in Miami, founded by Italian native Chef Angelo Masarin.
Here are a few words from Chef Masarin from a recent press release:
“We fell in love with Northeast Florida on our first visit, and we knew we had to bring the Salumeria 104 restaurant concept to this growing community,” said Masarin. “Our dishes are based on the foods I grew up eating in Treviso, a town near Venice in Northern Italy. I only use the freshest, highest quality ingredients to ensure our guests feel like they are dining with me at my home in Italy.”
Salumeria 104 Jacksonville is an authentic Northern Italian restaurant that features a variety of salumi, homemade pasta, meats, antipasti, fish, and more! There will be a 15-seat full bar serving Italian favorites like the Aperol Spritz, Negroni, and other classics, as well as offering a curated wine list and local craft beers.
We’re thrilled to see Jacksonville local Chef Michael Ayres serving as the head chef. Some menu items we’re excited to try are definitely the housemade pasta, the meatballs, cacio e pepe because hello cheese wheel, tiramisu, and of course, some cocktails. You can check out the full Atlantic Beach menu here. What are you excited to try? Let us know below!
