As the Catullo brothers put the finishing touches on their restaurant, I’m imagining birds a la Cinderella singing and draping the tables with tablecloths and bringing sprigs of herbs to the kitchen. I mean, that’s definitely a health code violation and also this isn’t a Disney movie, but the anticipation of Catullo’s Italian Restaurant opening has been long and intense and has left me delusional without a proper Italian meal. Catullo’s Italian Food Truck has been off the streets of Jax since 2017, and our prolonged wait is nearly over:
Catullo’s Italian Restaurant is opening Thursday, February, 7, the year of our Lord 2019. You can find them in the Walmart Grocery shopping center on Atlantic and San Pablo.
Catullo’s Italian Food Truck first hit the scene in Jax in 2016. They blew diners away with their scratch made pasta, roll ups, pizza, sangwiches, and specials. This is Italian like you’ve never had in Jacksonville. Carl and Dave Catullo make quite the culinary team and we are delighted to congratulate them on their opening. We fully intend to have a standing reservation.
